The last episode of Tom & Jerry.
There is an episode of Tom & Jerry where they both commit suicide. Tom falls in love with a female cat and showers her with gifts, only to have her stolen by another cat. He becomes an alcoholic and falls in a drain from which neither Jerry could save him because he encounters a similar problem. At the end they both sit on train tracks and the train is heard approaching with neither of them ready to move.
