How Mr. Bean chose his name?

Before Mr. Bean chose his stage name, he used the name Mr. White. But he ditched this name because it's associated with color. Then he tried to pick a name based on type of vegetables. Initially he selected Mr. Cauliflower, but in the end he decided for Mr. Bean.
