Robert Downey Jr. thanked Burger King for getting him off drugs

In 2003, Robert Downey Jr. had a burger which was so disgusting that it made him rethink his life and get off drugs. He has been clean since then. Downey Jr. hints that the fateful moment in "Iron Man", when Tony Stark requests a cheeseburger from Burger King after being released from his captors, is a reference to his own experiences.
