In 1995 the promotional website for the movie Hackers was hacked

In 1995 the promotional website for the movie "Hackers" was hacked by adding "This is going to be a lame, cheesy promotional site for a movie". MGM left the hacked site up which lead to believing it was all a planed PR stunt.
