Julius Caesar and the pirates

When Julius Caesar was captured by pirates, he insisted that they raise their ransom demand because he felt it was too low. He also told them that he would crucify them all personally. The pirates took it as a joke, but when the ransom was paid, Caesar raised a fleet, captured the pirates and crucified them.
